| Quality
Assurance of Internet based Health Information |
In the context of an interdisciplinary project
we examine possibilities for reliable and reproducible quality
evaluation of health and patient information in the Internet.
We believe that the development of target group oriented
criteria checklists for content, services as well as usability
and accessibility is most important. We started with a critical
analysis of already well-known evaluation systems and Nuzterbefragungen
are the starting point. The goal is to support both users
and providers of medicine and health information with a
system of practically applicable quality assurance and evaluation.
A pilot study showed that both the individual
analysis and a ranking of digital health information are
possible on the basis of a quantitative checkists.

We develop and provide individual criteria
checkists for tasks of quality assurance in medicine and
health care. Current projects are concerned in particular
with the quality assurance of Disease management programs
and the selection and introduction of hospital information
systems.

Our scientific work is financed to the predominant
